The Holker Group operates a diverse set of businesses all of which are intrinsically connected to the Holker Estate and its land. At the heart of this estate, lies the historic Holker Hall & Gardens, home to the Cavendish family, one of only three families to own the estate since the sixteenth century. Renowned for its stunning Gardens and picturesque Parkland with fallow deer and vibrant wild flower meadows, the Hall & Gardens is a cherished visitor destination in its own right.
The Holker Estate stretches across 17,000 acres of diverse Cumbrian topography, spanning the Southern Lake District, Furness and Cartmel Peninsulas. As Stewards of this historic landscape, we take sustainability seriously at Holker Group, consistently working toward maintaining and improving the health of the land and waterways that flow through the estate. Our focus on ensuring the long-term health of the land for future generations is evident in all that we do.
The Holker Group manages multiple business interests across the wider estate including visitor attractions, holiday parks, sporting venues, residential and commercial property lets, property development, farming, forestry, horticulture and the quarrying and manufacture of beautiful Lakeland slate and stone.
